The Springboard Fellowship is a prestigious, paid, two-year fellowship that brings together the best, brightest and most diverse Jewish talent through a transformative early career experience in the Hillel movement.

Fellows gain professional competencies needed to be outstanding leaders and changemakers in their communities while engaging in compelling work on college campuses across North America.

Fellowship Specialties

The Springboard Fellowship offers three separate tracks, each centered around a separate theme that guides the fellow’s work.

Innovation Specialist

Reimagine and redesign Jewish life on campus. As an Innovation Specialist, you’ll be trained in design thinking methodology to spark new ideas, connect with students, and infuse creativity into all aspects of Hillel’s work.

Social Justice Specialist

Empower students to make change guided by Jewish values, texts, and history. As a Social Justice Specialist, you'll receive training in the areas of engagement, social action and community organizing, and learn how to seamlessly weave Judaism into your engagement work.

Life As A Fellow

Professional Development & Training

Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their professional competencies and experience immersive Jewish learning through a series of in-person and virtual trainings. Fellows will attend various conferences throughout the year, learn through year-round video conferences and receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship from experienced Hillel professionals and outside facilitators.

Travel Opportunities

Between years one and two of the fellowship program, Springboard fellows are provided the opportunity to participate in an all-expense-paid, immersive summer learning experience. Immersive learning experiences are offered in Israel, Thailand, Argentina and various places in between.

The Network

In addition to compelling work and top-notch training, Springboard fellows receive a competitive annual salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and paid vacation time. By joining the Springboard fellowship program, fellows will also benefit from a vast professional network and will be supported at every stage during and after the fellowship program.
